Prof Daniel Rolnik completed his Obstetrics and Gynaecology training and was awarded a Master’s degree at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. 

He then went on to work with Professor Kypros Nicolaides at King’s College Hospital and Fetal Medicine Foundation in London, and undertook the Diploma in Fetal Medicine and his PhD. Daniel led the ASPRE trial, a large-scale randomised trial investigating the role of low-dose aspirin in preventing preeclampsia in the context of a large first-trimester screening program. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed scientific papers.

Daniel currently works as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Director of the Perinatal Care Centre at Monash Health and is an Associate Professor and Deputy Head of the O&G Department at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia.

He was recently awarded a Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology at Harvard University, USA, and received The Australian 2023 Top O&G Researcher award.

O Prof. Daniel Rolnik concluiu sua especialização em Ginecologia e Obstetrícia e obteve seu título de mestre pela Universidade de São Paulo, Brasil.

Em seguida, ele foi trabalhar com o Professor Kypros Nicolaides no King’s College Hospital e na Fetal Medicine Foundation, em Londres, onde obteve o Diploma em Medicina Fetal e concluiu seu doutorado (PhD). Daniel liderou o estudo ASPRE, um ensaio clínico randomizado de grande escala que investigou o papel da aspirina em baixa dose na prevenção da pré-eclâmpsia no contexto de um amplo programa de rastreamento de primeiro trimestre. Ele já publicou mais de 200 artigos científicos revisados por pares.

Atualmente, Daniel trabalha como Médico Assistente (Consultor) em Ginecologia e Obstetrícia e Diretor do Centro de Cuidados Perinatais na Monash Health, e é Professor Associado e Vice-chefe do Departamento de Ginecologia e Obstetrícia da Monash University, em Melbourne, Austrália.

Recentemente, ele obteve o título de Mestre em Saúde Pública com foco em Epidemiologia pela Universidade de Harvard, nos EUA, e recebeu o prêmio The Australian 2023 Top O&G Researcher (Melhor Pesquisador em Ginecologia e Obstetrícia da Austrália de 2023).
